Joe Dante's The Howling is the best werewolf movie, and Teen Wolf boxed in Teen Wolf Too, with John Astin. The Howling 3: The Marsupials has a werewolf ballerina!

I'd cast my personal vote for An American Werewolf in London, but I certainly have a soft spot for The Howling-- if only because it's so of its time. Where else but in a 1981 film (based on a novel published in '77) would the werewolf terror take place in a backwoods group therapy retreat?

Howling 3: The Marsupials must join its preceding film Howling 2: Your Sister is a Werewolf alongside old classics like "Electric Boogaloo," "Two Shades of Blue," and "Through the Portal of Time" in the Bad Sequel Subtitle Hall of Fame.
